T-Mobile USA to roll out Cupcake 1.5 to G1 customers next week
5/7/09 11:41 AM
After all the confusion about which T-Mobile customers were getting the Cupcake 1.5 update, T-Mobile USA makes an announcement:

T-Mobile USA is excited to offer its T-Mobile G1 customers new software updates, including Android 1.5. Starting at the end of next week, T-Mobile USA will begin rolling out Android 1.5 to T-Mobile G1 customers. The over-the-air update, which all G1 customers should receive by the end of May, will provide customers with many new feature enhancements.

Last week, Cupcake 1.5 was released to T-Mobile UK and T-Mobile USA dev phone users only. Now the rest of the T-Mobile USA customers will get the release. What does this mean for Trackmaster? With this new release, Trackmaster will provide higher accuracy GPS, faster GPS acquisition times, and bluetooth stereo headset support that will allow you to hear Trackmaster speech in your helmet. These improvements were provided in the Trackmaster v1.2 release.
