crosshair/background when setting splitmarkers

When setting splitmarkers, could the location crosshair be changed to something darker than yellow? It is almost impossible to see in direct sunlight.

Alternatively, can you implement an option to turn off the satellite imagery and just have a solid color background? The satellite background is not terribly helpful when mapping an autocross course since the image could be several years old. It just results in too much background clutter, and the "x" screen when zoomed in is no better.

Thanks

These are great suggestions and easy enough to include in the next version.

Thanks!

What I would like is to be able to move a mis-placed splitmarker. I dropped a few in the wrong places and had to delete the point or the whole set and start again.

Jeff,

Thanks for the ability to turn off the background. However, the location box is still yellow which makes it essentially invisible in sunlight. After several frustrating attempts to set split markers this weekend I finally just gave up. There were two issues: 1) the invisible yellow box, and 2) inability to maintain a decent GPS fix.

Rod, you should have asked me for my marker set. I had one. But, the GPS was a little off for me as well ... was getting 20' accuracy and the built-in GPS missed some of the markers on my laps. I ended up logging using "immediate" as I was just watching my lines and doing some testing for Jeff.
