Thought I'd post this just to show what a typical track looks like loaded into Google Earth:



A bit funny looking with Google's summer data in there, but indeed we were looping around an island.

Here you can see the laptimes increasing as the ice got more slick from car after car sliding around and polishing it:



It tapers off toward the end as I caught up with lapped traffic. There's usually 30-odd cars on there at once; a lot for a < 1 mile track.

Thanks for posting your data. It's pretty cool to see your data showing the reduced speeds due to the slick ice effect.

That sounds like it would be a blast! What kind of cars race with you? Purpose built or production based?

Sorry Matt, just saw this.

There are a lot of classes, ranging from production vehicles on non-studded tires (which I run in) up to 500+hp sprint cars with inch-long studs.
