Ok, I probably could have put this into the Relative speed indicator thread, but I think both features might be nice as different indicators...

In some video games you have an indicator in seconds that tells you how much faster or slower you are vs your fastest lap. This indicator is constantly updating as you move around the track. It zeros out as you cross the start/finish line, and then continuously compares how long it took you to get to the current position on the track on this lap vs how long it took on the fastest lap.

I think an indicator of this type would be a cool way to find faster lines through a corner. I would just have to check the relative lap time indicator before corner entry and then again after corner entry, and thus I can see if I am bettering my lap time.

I guess the algorithm is something like this:
Relative Lap Time = (Time to current location on the track for fastest lap) - (Time to current location on the track for current lap)

Thanks Jeff. I realize that I can approximate this feature by setting splits around each turn, but I thought it might be fun to have instantaneous updates :-).
