Compile Sessions as Laps?
Compile Sessions as Laps?
7/12/10 4:22 PM
I am using Trackmaster for Autocross. As the tips suggest, I am doing this with lapping mode off. However, it seems to create a new session for every lap I run. This makes it difficult to quickly toggle between runs to see differences. Maybe I am using it wrong, but is there a way to run mulitple autocross runs in the same session so they show up as "laps"? If not, it would be nice to be able to compile multiple sessions into one, with each 1 lap session showing up as a seperate lap? I guess I could do this manually by using a PC and copy/paste the spreadsheet data, but it would be nice to be able to do it on the phone.

thanks!

Yes, for autocross you can have all your runs in one session. Under the start button is a multi-select that has 'Start a new session' selected by default. You can select a previous session to add your new run to it. This will allow you to compare your runs.

Ah nice! I had my phone lodged into the center console cupholder, so I couldn't see the bottom of the screen when I was at the startline.

I've never even noticed this before! Great feature! I'll have to use this at the next event.

Jeff, I tried this yesterday at Autocross and it did work, but I think there may be a bug. I was able to select the correct session from the pull-down menu, but the "Start" screen continued to show "Start New Session." I logged to the existing session correctly even though the screen disagreed.

I'll have this fixed in the next release. If all goes well, you should see another release by the end of next week.
