Nice additions

Been using this for a day or so and would love to see these features.
Forgive me if it can already do it as I haven't used it exhaustively.

1. Ability to change the width of the split lines for narrow circuits or bad GPS's!

2. Ability to change the direction that triggers the split markers or make them bidirectional for when you are travelling the opposite direction around the track.

3. The ability to append onto or pause/continue an old session so that you can compare your lap to all previous laps not just the ones in that session. Great for single lap runs such as hillclimbs to enble you to compare splits on the fly as you are doing the run.

4. Split times shown as the cumulative time up to that point so that you can see if you're behind or ahead up to that point in the lap. Just seeing the time between the split points doesn't really assist you in assessing how you are progressing during the lap.

5. The ability to create splits as you drive the circuit by just one touch. In other words, mark this point. As it stands you have to take your eyes off the road, position the screen in the appropriate place and set the split by touching the screen in hopefully the spot you are positioned on. It would also be nice if it records the times as you do this the first time to create a baseline line.

6. The ability to log first then position splits on the logged data. Great for motor/superkhanas etc where you don't know the exact path before the event and find the first run is actually a competitive one.

7. To eliminate the "lapping mode" setting all you need is the ability to label a split as a start/finish or just a start which would leave the last split as the finish for a non "lapped" track. Next time through the start finish starts a new run.

8. Be able to export the logged data as NMEA for use in programs such as VBox performance tools etc.

9. A moving +/- green/red bar to illustrate where you are in a lap relative to where you were in the best/last/optimum lap at all times during the lap, not just at splits. Watch the nascar qualifying to see something similar. This is a great tool for trying different lines and seeing the overall effect to help you improve your lap times.

Just some food for thought.
