Trackmaster v3.0 released!
12/19/10 6:22 PM
Trackmaster v3.0 includes bug fixes and the following new features:
  • Single lap graphing for data analysis was added. This interactive graph shows speed, acceleration, altitude, and more for a single lap. You can access this function from the Laps screen via the context menu (Long press a lap).

  • Added App-to-SD support. You can now move the app to your external storage (SDCARD) to free up internal memory.
  • Spanish language UI optimizations were made.
  • More tracks were added to the track database. If your track is not found, please email me.
  • Added more helpful notifications throughout the app to provide tips on using Trackmaster.
  • Added a release notes dialog that appears when you first launch.
  • Fixed issue with the video overlay where some data was skewed or flipped.
  • Minor documentation updates were made.
  • This release also includes various other minor bug fixes.

Happy holidays!

This is cool!

Is there any way to export this new graph? It'd be cool if it showed up when you clicked on a lap number in Google Earth.

I did see you can share it as an image file but it seems to only share the part of the graph you actually have on screen.

Due to the varying amounts of data people record, it would be very difficult to export the full graph. It would probably end up looking like a big, scribble blob if you have a lot of data on one lap - especially if you are using a 5Hz GPS. You can still export all the data in Excel format. Each lap is on a tab and you can easily create a data graph using a the Excel scatter plot.

Fantastic! Thank you for the excellent support! I purchased this phone for this application specifically. Seriously, thank you - Jeff.

First app I bought!

Can't wait until my next DE in late Feb.

The BT GPS is working great!

Jeff, got an issue with the lap graph feature on the latest version (3.1 I believe). When I select "Graph" from the long-press menu, I get an error and much force close, which bumps me back to the session list. This is on the original Moto Droid and the current Verizon/Moto software. Session was logged on Feb 27.

EDIT :: I also seem to consistently get that same error when I exit the app.

Also, have you considered a simpler way to access this feature? Maybe a button for "Graph this lap" from the main session screen, or a menu option? I know you have a specific way that everything is organized but I personally tend to forget about things hidden in long press menus. Just a thought.

Can you send the data for the Feb 27th session?

Have a chance to look this over Jeff? Just want to be sure you got the data.

Yea, I was able to reproduce the issue with your data. It's an indexing issue with the data and the splits. The fix will be in the next release.

Jeff, just FYI, got an event on Saturday if you needed some testing done on the graphing issue. Just let me know.
