Trackmaster v4.2 released!
8/22/11 8:48 PM
Trackmaster v4.2 includes bug fixes and new features. Here is an overview of the new features:

  • The logger start controls were updated to provide a few additional settings to change prior to logging. You can now optionally set your vehicle, setup, and split marker set from the logger screen.
  • A time field was added to the session list. Columns are click sortable.
  • The data sync to MyTrackmaster.com now has a more reliable sync mechanism. Failures due to network issues will automatically be retried sooner and more often.
  • MyTrackmaster.com now allows you to delete data on the web site. On the next sync, deleted data will be removed from your device.
  • A new Archive option is available on MyTrackmaster.com. Select this option and data will remain on MyTrackmaster.com and not be deleted (even if deleted from device).

Cool, thanks for including the sorting of the sessions list! I was getting tired of scrolling past 50 sessions every time I wanted to see my most recent lap times...

Jeff, I love the sort option for the session list, but it doesn't save your sort method. I can select sort by time and it's great, but if I choose an action, like view a session or edit a session name it keeps my vertical place in the list, but defaults back to whatever the default sort method is.

A microwhine: I'm on v4.4 and somewhere recently we lost the ability to do share-by-email of the video data. I used to use that emoticon I can still emulate it by saving it to external storage, futzing with a USB cable and emailing it to myself.

Well, I just realized that the sorting by Time only works as oldest to newest. This is the opposite I was hoping for/expecting. Any chance you could implement sorting in the opposite direction (newest to oldest) when I could tap the Time header a second time?
