RaceChrono compatible file

Where do I find this file? I saved files in Google Earth and Excel formats and they are the only the files I see. When I convert the Excel file to a CSV file and try to use it RaceChrono brings up an error box stating there is no lap data and the file must be the wrong type of csv file.

Use the video data function to generate the file.

I must be particularly dense. I had already read that section of the User Guide many times.

"Video Data - You can generate video data from your session. This data can be used by video overlay software RaceChrono2AVI(free), TrackVision, or RaceRender to create a data overlay on your video. Trackmaster exports using the RaceChrono format, so make sure to select that option with the video overlay software."

Where do I get the RaceChrono format file to export off the phone? The only files I see on the phone SD disk are the files I saved by choosing the save option. You give selections to save the file in Google Earth and Excel formats but I don't see anything that matches the RaceChrono csv files that are used as examples in the RaceChrono software. If I convert the Trackmaster Excel file to a csv file and load it into RaceChrono I get a message there is no lap data and the file is probably the wrong type of csv file. See attachment for files that I see on the SD Disk. I also included the xlsx file I used and the csv export from that file along with an example file from RaceChrono. The excel and csv file data structures don't seem to match the ones in the example RaceChrono csv file.

One other question. When I setup a test driving around my block I did three laps but when I replayed the session video on the phone the video stopped after the first lap. What do I choose to get the video to run more than 1 lap. Again the User Guide isn't particularly helpful to me here.

William... took me a while to find this....

Go to Sessions.
Select the session you want to use.
at the bottom, you have several options... SCROLL that menu to the left and there are more!
G Meter, Laps, Splits, Watch Video and........... Video Data!

It's there... just have to find it... Video data is what outputs the csv file.

Good luck!
